There’s immense excitement around Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next - Mega 156 - which was recently titled Vishwambhara, directed by Bimbisara fame Vassishta. The filming of the fantasy tale, which has a supernatural twist, has already begun. While the glimpse, launched this week, has set the expectations high, the makers - UV Creations - are leaving no stone unturned to mount it on a lavish scale.
While Chiranjeevi may not have any release in 2024, there’s enough in store to keep his fans excited for Sankranthi 2025. A source close to the team suggests that there will be extensive art work for Vishwambhara. The production designer AS Prakash is working round the clock to erect 13 larger-than-life sets for the fantasy saga.
All the 13 sets will be constructed across Annapurna Studios (and 7 Acres premises) and the team is taking care of all the minute details pertaining to set design, costumes. The next schedule of Vishwambhara will commence in the set designed at Annapurna Studios. That’s not all, as the genre suggests - the film will be high on VFX to aid the world-building for the tale.
A major part of the film will shot in the 13 sets. Vishwambhara is touted to be one of the most expensive projects in Chiranjeevi’s career. The collaboration between Chiranjeevi and MM Keeravaani after many years is another reason to be excited about. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer and Chota K Naidu cranks the camera for the film.
