Tennessee Telugu Samithi celebrated Diwali/Dasara/Bathukamma in a grand fashion. The event started auspiciously with Ganesh pooja, followed by prayer song by Suchetha, Rithika, Yashwitha and Ramya and an invocation dance by Karuna Gujar. The well-wishing couple Dr. Dhananjaya Rao and Smt. Padmavathi graced and blessed the launching of the event.

Many Telugu women brought wonderfully decorated Bathukamma to the stage and did singing and dancing to praise the Goddess with color and flair.

Specially selected highly talented cultural performances by young and young at heart were presented on stage to the fullest satisfaction of the audiance. Each and every single cultural item were proved to be second to none.It was amazing to see that there is so much wonderful Telugu talent living within Nashville community.

Siliconandhra Manabadi that was started an year ago in Nashville presented a literary performance that was appreciated by each and evryone in the audience. Tennessee Telugu Samithi with the coopertaion of Siliconandhra Manabadi is encouraging local Telugu kids to learn and preserve Telugu language.

Tennessee Telugu Samithi sincerely thanked Dr. Deepak Reddy for being food sponsor for the entire event for which Bawarchi restaurant cooked delicious food at a very reduced price.

The convenor of ATA convention of 2014, Mr.Karunakar Reddy, Anil Bodi Reddy,and Kiran Pasam not only graced the event but also helped the event by being a grand sponsor.

Tennessee Telugu Samithi sincerely thanked Dr. Prem Reddy for being an another Grand Sponsor for this event.

The President of NATS Mr. Ravi Achnatha and team of NATS representatives graciously attended and enjoyed the festivities. Tennessee Telugu Samithi is also thankful to NATS for being another grand sponsor.

The much awaited prime time event by Professional singers Smt. Mani Sastry (Houston), Mr. Krishna Prasad (Hyderabad)cand Rahul Sipligunj (Hyderabad) took off with excitement. The music that was presented by all 3 highly talented singers was melodious, foot-tapping and was thoroughly enjoyed by all age groups in the audience.

As a final colorful touch, the fashion show by Kids and beautiful women of Nashville was a run-away winner.

అమెరికాలో తెలుగు పండుగల జాతర
టెన్నెస్సీతెలుగు సమితి ఆధ్వర్యంలో వేడుకలు

టెన్నెస్సీతెలుగు సమితి (టీటీఎస్) దసరా, దీపావళి, బతుకమ్మ వేడుకలను నష్విల్లె లో ఒకే వేదికపై ఘనంగా నిర్వహించింది. సుచేత, రితిక,యశ్విత, రమ్య లు గణేష్ పూజతో ఈ వేడుకలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. కరుణ గుజర్ స్వాగత గీతంతో చేసిన నృత్యం అలరించింది. ధనుంజయ్ రావు, పద్మావతి ల ఆశీస్సులతో ప్రారంభమైన వేడుకలు ఆద్యంతం తెలుగు వారికి తియ్యటి అనుభూతులు మిగిల్చాయి.

బతుకమ్మ బతుకమ్మ ఊయాలో అంటూ మహిళలంతా బతుకమ్మ ఆడారు. తెలుగు పండుగలను కన్నులపండువగా చేశారు. మహిళల ఫ్యాషన్ షో కూడా ఈ వేడుకలకు ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచింది. నష్విల్లె లో ఉన్న తెలుగువారు తమ ప్రతిభను చూపెట్టడంలో పోటీపడటంతో ఈ వేడుకలు ఎంతో జోష్ నింపాయి.

తెలుగుభాషను భావితరాలకు అందించే బాధ్యతతో సిలికానాంధ్ర స్థాపించిన మనబడి ఇక్కడ ఏడాది పూర్తి చేసుకుంది. దీనిని పురస్కరించుకు విద్యార్థుల తెలుగు ప్రతిభ ప్రదర్శనకు కూడా ఈ వేడుకలు వేదికగా మారాయి. చిన్నారులు తేట తేట తెలుగును తియ్యని తెలుగును ఎంత బాగా నేర్చుకున్నారో అని విద్యార్ధులపై ప్రశంసల వర్షం కురిసింది.

స్థానిక బావర్చి రెస్టారెంట్ అధినేత దీపక్ రెడ్డి చాలా తక్కువ ధరకు ఈ వేడుకలకు కమ్మటి తెలుగువిందును అందించారు. 2014 ఆటా కన్వెన్షన్ కన్వీనర్ కరుణాకర్ రెడ్డి, అనిల్ బోడి రెడ్డి, కిరణ్ పాశం ఈ వేడుకలకు స్పాన్సర్ గా వ్యవహారించడంతో పాటు వీటి నిర్వహణకు తమ వంతు సాయం అందించారు.

తెలుగువారంతా కలిసి ఆనందాలు పంచుకునే వేదికలకు ఎప్పుడు ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ మద్దతు ఉంటుందని నాట్స్ అధ్యక్షుడు రవి అచంట తెలిపారు. తమకు మద్దతు అందించిన నాట్స్ కు నస్సీ తెలుగు సమితి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపింది. ఈ తెలుగు పండుగలను జరిపేందుకు గ్రాండ్ స్పాన్సర్ గా ముందుకొచ్చిన డాక్టర్ ప్రేమ్ రెడ్డికి కూడా టీటీఎస్ ప్రత్యేక ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపింది. డాక్టర్ ధనుంజయరావు, డాక్టర్ చక్రధర్ రావు,ఆటా, నాట్స్ ప్రతినిధులతో స్పాన్సర్లను టీటీఎస్ సత్కరించింది.

మణి శాస్త్రి (హౌస్టన్), కృష్ణ ప్రసాద్ (హైదరాబాద్), రాహుల్ సిప్లిగంజ్ (హైదరాబాద్)లు తమ పాటల ప్రవాహంతో తెలుగు వారిని ఊర్రూతలూగించారు.

టెన్నెస్సీ తెలుగు సమితి అధ్యక్షురాలు రేవతి మెట్టుకురు కమిటీ సభ్యులకు ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. కమిటీ సభ్యులు రమేష్ అరమండ్ల, రంగనాయకి ముండుంబి, లత శశి, కిరణ్ కమతం, సౌమ్య గంట్యాల, హారికా కనగాల, జోత్స్న కొండ, దీప్తి కొనగట్ల, రాజేష్ తాతినేని, పవన్ గంట్యాల, రాజా వేమూరి, అపర్ణనాథ్ శేష, సందీప్ గొండల, శ్రీధర్ కర్ర, ఉమా సప్పిడి , మౌనిక అరమండ్ల, సుష్మా పెద్దిరెడ్డి, కేశవ్ మూర్తి మరియు వేణు సింగారి తదితరులు ఈ వేడుకలను విజయవంతం చేయడానికి చేసిన క్రుషిని రేవతి అభినందించారు.

ఇంకా స్పాన్సర్లుగా వ్యవహారించిన డిజె శ్రీనివాస్, దుర్గం కు టీటీఎస్ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపింది. వాలంటీర్లుగా పనిచేసిన విచ్చు నాథన్, అభినవ్ రాజు,దీపక్ సుబ్రమణ్యం,ప్రణవ్ సరవనన్, నిఖిల్ అరుణ్, సుదీప్ ఘంటసాల, ప్రెస్టన్ జాన్స్టన్, ఆదిత్య సాథే, అవి గార్గే, ఎలియట్ ఫోర్స్తేర్-బెన్సన్ తో పాటు ఫాదర్ ర్యాన్ ఆడిటోరియం సిబ్బందికి టీటీఎస్ ప్రత్యేక కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపింది. మంజునాథ్ శెట్టి ఈ వేడుక ఫోటోలు, వీడియోలు తీసి తన వంతు సహకారం అందించారు.
