Review

Story
Krish (Sree Vishnu), Vinay (Priyadarshi) and Madhav (Rahul Ramakrishna) are three spoiled youngsters who are used to easy money and a luxurious lifestyle during their thesis days. After obtaining PhD, they enter a village called Bhairavapuram where they realize that they can cheat people and make easy money. They start a service called “Bang Bros A to Z solutions”. They get popular/viral. Krish falls in love with a girl. In order to marry her, he needs to enter a haunted dilapidated mansion called Sampangi Palace and bring treasure from inside which is said to be protected by a devil called Sampangi. Rest of the story is about what happens when they enter the Sampangi Palace.

Artists Performance

Sree Vishnu comes up with another nice comedic performance after Samajavaragamana with a free-flowing dialogue delivery. It takes some bravery to do a character that behaves senselessly and also has a taboo thing attached to it. Priyadarshi is the only identifiable role among the trio. Priyadarshi is pretty good. Rahul Ramakrishna is known for his deadpan humor and he entertains. Racha Ravi is fine as a villagemen who joins the Bang Bros. Preethi Mukundhan is okay as the female lead. Ayesha Khan does a saucy role. Aditya Menon and Srikanth Iyengar are fine. Priya Vadlamani sizzles in a special song.

Story - screenplay - direction: Director Sree Harsha Konuganti pens a “no holds barred” story that justifies the tagline “No Logic”. He depended on the crazy antics of the characters. First half tells more about the characters and the village they entered. Second half holds the main plot. And there are a couple of twists as well. There are plenty of dialogues and situations to create adult humor. The director has succeeded in getting a few wacky situations right, however the flow of the scenes (screenplay) is not organic and looks forced. We can also see influences of Chandramukhi movie in the 2nd half. The climax of the film appears a little abrupt.

Other departments: Cinematography by Raj Thota is pretty good. It’s very glossy in the college episodes. Songs don't help the movie (there is no need for songs in this kind of film). However, background music by Sunny MR is decent though it is a little cacophonic in the 2nd half. Dialogues are mostly contemporary using popular memes. Production design by Srikanth Ramisetty is good. Little imaginative when it comes to equipment of Bang Bros and pretty believable while designing Sampangi Mahal. Editing by Vijay Vardhan is fine. Production values by V Celluloid and Sunil Balusu are good. They must be appreciated for allowing the director to go all out for a no-holds-barred comedy.

Analysis: Om Bheem Bush is a nonsensical and a no-holds-barred comedy that revolves around 3 dumb characters who think themselves as highly intelligent. The director wrote certain scenes in a wacky way without bothering about the acceptance levels. Though the director's conviction should be commended, the natural camaraderie is missing among the main leads. A couple of scenes in the first half and a few scenes in the 2nd half do really work well on the entertainment aspect. This film is targeted towards young audiences.
