Yep! Its for real, not a prank reserved for the 1st April 2000.

And the director is none but Teja, who is directing a film called Chitram(The Picture) for Usha Kiron films on a shoe string budget of 40 lacs. Teja did work as cinematographer for a few bollywood films. Incidentally Teja is supposed to have got 6 big offers even before his first film is completed.

Raja Sekhar on a remaking spree

Raja Sekhar seems to have bitten by the remake bug. He bought the rights for two of the hit Tamil films. They are 'Sethu' and 'Vanathipol'.

Raja Sekhar has chosen Muthyala Subbaiah as the director for 'Vanathipol. This film was originally directed by Vikraman, who gave films like Raja and Surya Vansam. Telugu version of 'Sethu' will be directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty.

In addition to these two films he will have another film called 'Aadi', directed by Balan and produced by TSR and Jeevita.




Chandra Mahesh to direct Vijayasanthi

Vijaya Santi, the female who showed the power of lady star with three films Prati Ghatana, Kartavyam and Osey Ramulamma is eagerly waiting for another hit of that dimension. If posani Krishna Murali, who is known for writing real raw stories gives the right story to Vijaya Santi, it can spell another magic at box office.

Chandra Mahesh, who did 'Preyasi Raave' will direct this venture that is produced by the media man 'Taranga Subramanium' who gave hit like 'Premaku Velayara'. Stay tuned for more news.
