K Raghavendra Rao does not have the habit of speaking in public functions. but he made an exception today (earlier he spoke during Telugu cinema vajrostavalu) and blessed Krish by saying 'God bless you' (photo here).

Speaking on the occasion Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “Gamyam is like a text book for wannabe directors and producers.”

Gamyam is an ideal film to follow – Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao
Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said, “I liked Gamyam a lot. Expected English kind of film from USA returned director Krish. But he made me cry in theater with heart-touching content. It is an ideal film for everybody to follow. We are completing 30 years in industry and worked over for 320 films. We watch good films by all new directors like Sekhar Kammula and Krish to update our skills. I liked the screenplay of Gamyam. The way hero hid the identity of heroine to Allari Naresh till end speak volumes about the talent of the director. Gamyam will be a memorable film in the careers of Sharwanand and Allari Naresh. I hope that big heroes take a cue from this film and would come forward to act in nice films like Gamyam.”

Krish has the honesty of T Krishna and commerciality of K Raghavendra Rao – R Narayanamurthy
R Narayana Murthy said, “It is Tammareddy Bharadwaja who should get the credit for helping the release of this film through Pyramid Saimira films. Krish has the honesty of T Krishna and commerciality of K Raghavendra Rao in him. He nicely catered to the all strata of the society by targeting the characters of Sharwanand, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Allari Naresh to upper class, middle class and lower class respectively. Gandham Nagaraju penned thought provoking dialogues. I would like to compare the characters of Allari Naresh and Sharwanand to that of Amitab and Dharmendra in Sholay film.”

LB Sriram opined that the combination of Krish and Gandham would become like that of Bapu – Ramana in the future.

Got great feedback from doctors - EVV
EVV Satyanaranaya said, “Gamyam proved time and again that movie lovers always encourage good cinema. Krish is a passionate and dedicated director. Gamyam is getting unanimous response from everybody. Lots of big doctors and intellectuals called me and opined that Gamyam is a great film. It gave me lot of kick as a father because my son acted in it. Krish should continue to do these kinds of films without succumbing to commercial demands.”

I saw Gamyam twice - Jayasudha
Jayasudha said, “I liked Gamyam a lot. I think Krish is one director who got lots of appreciation after Sekhar Kammula in the recent years. I saw the film twice, which I rarely do. I feel that Kamalinee is one of the best actresses that Telugu film industry produced in the last one decade. She did lot better in Anand than what I did in my first film. Sharwanand got lots of appreciation for his work in the second half. Allari Naresh proved to be very good artist with this film. The dialogues are extraordinary. Krish also followed Hollywood kind of screenplay for this film.”

MM Keeravani said, “I feel good whenever a small film becomes successful. I am also happy that Sharwanand got his first hit. Music director ES Murthy is a good friend of me. I am associated with this film because Vel Records did the music.”

Lagadapati Sridhar said, “Gamyam is not a love story, but a life story. We should feel proud that films like Pokiri, Bommarillu, Happy Days and Gamyam are getting remade in other languages.”

Siva Nageswara Rao said, “I watched the film on the first day. I was so impressed that I wanted to meet Krish and present him a bouquet. But he was busy watching the film in Lakshmi Kala theater. I take this opportunity to present him flowers. I recommended this film to over 300 people.”

Gamyam sets new standards for new directors - Neelakanta
Director Neelakanta said, “Two films that moved me recently were Tare Zameen Par and Gamyam. These films haunted me even after I left the theater. I experienced extreme pleasure watching these films. Gamyam is like a self journey into your mind. It sets new standards for new directors.”

Gamyam changed my identity – Allari Naresh
Allari Naresh said, “I am very happy. I was branded as a comedy hero till Gamyam happened. Gamyam changed my identity. I am also very happy that it’s the first hit to Sharwanand.”

Sharwanand said, “I feel that this is the beginning of the journey to all of us. I would like to thank media. I am very happy for this film becoming a hit.”

Kamalinee said, “I am very happy and we all worked very hard. I did not expect this film to become such a big hit.”

Ram lakshan said, “We were very much inspired by the director when we first went to sets. When actor Surya could not make it to shoot, we suggested that Krish himself should do the role of naxalite leader. We shot the climax of the film in Rampachodavaram for seven days in real rain.”

Rao Ramesh who won critical acclaim for his role of naxalite said that Gamyam film changed his life forever.

Actress Hema said, “I did a very good character in the film. The dialogues penned for Gaali Seenu character were excellent. I cried in the theater.”

Tammareddy Bharadwaja is responsible for the release - Krish
Krish said, “I arranged six preview shows in this same theater before the release so that somebody would buy this film. Tammareddy Bharadwaja came to theater when we invited for 7 pm show. Due to some problems we started the show at 7:30 and by that time Tammareddy left. He got the good feedback from others and then came for another screening. After watching the film, he owned the project. It was Tammareddy Bharadwaja who was responsible for the release of Gamyam. I would also like to thank the projection boy of Prasad labs because he was the first person who gave me the good feedback about the film.”
