Audio of Akash's bilingual film Guru was released at Seventh Heaven's conference hall on the night of 31st May. Rama Naidu, Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, RP Patnaik and Navneet Kaur were invited as guests. Rama Naidu released the audio and gave the first unit to hero Kalyan Ram.

D Rama Naidu said that he decided not to attend functions till gives a decent hit as producer. But he had to come to this function as this film is produced by a Tamil producer. He owes a lot to Chennai and Tamil producers as he had an attachment of producing Telugu films for 25 years by basing himself in Chennai.

Kalyan Ram Nandamuri wished that Guru would become a big hit like Akash's Anandam.

Heroine Pranathi was also present at the occasion. Surya Music bought the audio rights. Songs of this film were also projected.
