Nikhil starrer ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ has successfully completed its 30 days and marking the achievement the celebrations were held of late at Blue Fox in Banjara Hills.
The entire film unit gathered at the success do. Filmmaker VI Anand said that he is humbled by the success of the film and thanked audience for flocking at the screens despite demonetization.
“I’m grateful to audience for coming to theaters making it jam-packed and watching the film despite cash crunch,” said Anand.
Actor Nikhil thanked the filmmaker for the success of the film, adding that, the film’s success is only savored by others because of the effort put in by the unsung technicians.
‘Our job is just to emote emotion as per directors vision, hence the film’s success deserves to them,” added Nikhil.
The actor further thanked Suresh Babu and Dil Raju for coming forward and distributing the film in their respective areas at a time of demonetization.
Later on Dil Raju and Suresh Babu congratulated the film unit on its success bash, adding that it is good to see a movie made on a shoestring to run successfully and raking in moolah.
“The film faced a tough time at later stages that is after the completion of the shoot, but defying all odds the film was able to pull the crowd to theatres and went on to become successful,” said Dil Raju.
Meanwhile, Suresh Babu congratulated Nikhil and Anand and said that both have a long run in the industry.
