A renowned child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis),
is called in to help Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) an eight-year
old boy with an unusual problem - he sees dead people walking
around as if they are alive. Young Sear, who is afraid to
reveal his extraordinary secret to anyone, places his trust
in Crowe. The doctor begins to notice the similarity between
Sear's case and that of one of his earlier patients, who after
shooting at Crowe, commits suicide in the presence of the
doctor and his wife (Olivia Williams). As Crowe and Sear begin
to gradually dealing with the ghosts that are a part of Sear's
waking life, they both have to deal with the altered close
relationships in their own lives. Sear has to learn to deal
with the dead who approach him for help, and Crowe meanwhile
has to deal with his failing marriage. Through the the film
as the supernatural tale gradually unravels, the audience
is unprepared for the climax that almost shocks us and yet
supports the entire narrative. To say any more would be to
                    destroy the surprise!

                | The
Sixth Sense is a one of the great example of the twist-in-the-tale.
The astonishing, almost shocking climax will shock the viewer.
The film's greatest strength is its direction, very well written
script, which is supported by very good performances by the
actors. Haley Joel Osment as Cole Sear is undoubtedly the great
child actor. Bruce Willis breaks the normal picture as action
hero and has put on great on his acting as an doctor keen to
help boy while he fights with his own personal life. The two
actors are well supported by whole cast of ghosts and spirits.
This is not a typical horror film that will have your hairs
up, or sneaking in seat. It is a thriller that will by the end
have you shaking your head in disbelief and surprise! Above
all it has got Indian Director Manoj Night Shyamalan which has
made his place in top chart in list of Hollywood directors..we
are proud of him and may his success continue... A 'definately
must see' movie..if you waiting for a good movie then this is
the one. This movie has broken all records in U.S.A. and the
same will be for sure everywhere in world.. |
