This
film has got two selling points. That is director Neelakanta
and banner SP Entertainments.
Director
Neelakanta:
Neelakanta won National award for screenplay of his debut
film as director 'Show'.
His second film Missamma
not only won awards, but also paid well at box office. He
won Nandi award for best screenplay for Missamma
film.
SP
Entertainments Banner:
SP Entertainments banner was established to make Venu as
hero. He was launched with 'Swayamvaram' which went
on to become a runaway success. This film is the one that
changed the trend of Telugu film industry and inspired other
filmmakers to come up with small budget films with strong
script. This film relaunched once-a-failure director Vijaya
Bhaskar and since then he did not look back. Their second
film 'Chirunavvuto'
is another smash hit. Their 3rd film 'Kalyana
Ramudu' (a remake) was a moderate success. Their 4th
film 'Cheppave
Chirugali' (another remake) was a disaster. After bitten
with remakes, SP Entertainments is coming back with original
and author-backed script Sada Mee Sevalo.
Theme
of the film:
As the title suggests, this film is about a youngster who
is a Good Samaritan. This film is about serving the society.
While serving the noble purpose, this film also deals with
good amount of romance, comedy and music. Neelakanta is
surely learning his ropes about balancing aesthetically
rich scripts with adequate commercial elements. And he says
that Sada Mee Sevalo is more commercial compared
to Missamma.
Music:
Vandemataram who gave a soul stirring music for Swayamvaram
has come up with a slow score for this film. The music of
the film went unnoticed as the filmmakers decide to launch
the music directly into the market without making any official
music launch function. The music of the film which is staying
low on the charts now is expected to pick up depending on
the commercial success of the film.
Heroine
hiccup:
The filmmakers decided to cast Rakshita as heroine for this
film and held muhurat
with Rakshita as heroine. And suddenly Shriya surfaced in
and it was rumored that it was her weight that turned Rakshita
against her.
Release
expectations:
The publicity of the film is comparatively less and it appears
as a deliberate ploy to make this film's release a low profile
event. Neelakanta is surely a crowd puller and film is expected
to generate positive talk if it's decent enough as Telugu
film lovers do appreciate sensible screenplay and commendable
narration. This film is releasing on 25th of March 2005.
