Actress Ankita (L3 and Simhadri fame) celebrated her birthday today (27 May). She invited the press to her residence in Punjagutta on this occasion. Here are the excerpts of a chitchat with her -

“I am all set to start my second innings as actress after a gap. During this gap I went to USA and learnt about direction. I always had inclination towards script work and direction. I am starting my second innings with Nava Vasantham film which also sports Tarun, Akash and Priyamani. I like Telugu film industry a lot. I complete 13 films so far and had hits and flops. I am willing to do both youth oriented roles and family types. I did an item song in Khatarnak and I regret my decision for doing item songs in the past. I feel that my bad period is over and looking forward for good times”
