'Anji' to shoot songs in USA

Chiru Producer of 'Anji', Mr Shyam Reddy had a shooting stint for a week in Austria in the second week of this month for his film. He shot a few important scenes on Tinu Anand, the villain, in Austria. The cast and crew of 'Anji' would be touring USA to shot songs of 'Anji' in the mid of November. Coke has approached Mr. Shyam to sponser the tour and costs associated with it. But Shyam Reddy is not ready to accept the deal, as he does not want a corporate image attached to the film. For 'Jayam Manadera', thums up has sponsored 80 lacs for the Europe tour to promore their brand through the film. According to the producer, the film would be ready by the end of January 2001. Mr. Devi Vara Prasad, the producer of another Chiru starer 'Mrigaraju' has gone ahead and announced the release date of Mrigaraju as 11th January 2001. Looks like Anji may be released on 9th May 2001.

'Devi Putrudu' to shoot songs in Austria and Switzerland

Venky Devi Putrudu's shooting of a song is going on Ramoji Film city now in the direction of Ahmed Khan. This song is choreographed on Venky and 60 models. Shooting on this song will go for 8 days on a hi-tech set erected in Ramoji film city with Rs 40 lacs. Shooting of this film is completed except for a patchwork of 3-4 days and shooting of one and half songs. The producer is planning to can the songs in Austria and Switzerland. Venky is acting in double role as archeologist and a small time thief in this film. Soundarya and Anjala Zhaveri are doing female leads in this film. Kodi Rama Krishna is the director and MS Raju is the producer. A small baby is playing a crucial role in this film. Audio of this film is expected in December and this film is shaping up to clash with 'Mrigaraju', 'Narasimha Naidu' and 'Murari' for the Sankrati season.
