Krishna Vamsi to direct a seema film for Chiru
Venky's film 'Preminchu Kudam Raa' set the Rayalaseema ball rolling. And the films like Anthahpuram and Samarasimha Reddy caught up later. Then came Narasimha Naidu disclosing the Telugu cinema box-office stamina. It is learnt that Chiru is keen on doing a factionist film with Rayalaseema backdrop. And Krishna Vamsi is summoned to make a script for the same. As the producer and hero of Murari are making busy trip all over Andhra promoting Murari, the director Krishna Vamsi is busy with story sittings for Chiru. Aswini Dutt will be producing this venture on the eve of 25th year of Vyjayanti films. The only hero who is not interested in Rayalaseema stuff seems to be the inscrutable Nag.
Mohan Babu in 'Narasimha' remake
Mohan Babu and remakes go hand in hand. After trying a series of straight films, Mohan Babu is back to business with remakes. Like his blockbuster Alludu Garu, this film too is going to be a remake of a Malayalam film called 'Narasimha'. Recording of this film will start on 30th of this month under the baton of Koti. Preethi Zingania and Mukesh Rushi are doing heroine and villain for this film (just like Narasimha Naidu). Ravi raja Pinisetty is going to direct this film. Paruchuri brothers are penning the lyrics. Jayaram handles photography. Tamil super star Rajnikant is involved in the processing customizing the story of this film to the Telugu nativity.
