D Suresh Babu's Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu will be releasing on the auspicious
date of Sankranthu, which is 14th of January. On 18th January SV Krishna
Reddy's 'Premaku Swagatam' is releasing. On the same day, another youth
film 'Muddu' is also releasing. The release of Krishna's Chandra Vamsam
and Dasari's Kondaveeti Simhasanam is differed to the end of January
2002. The release date of Srikanth's 'O Chinadana' is not confirmed
yet.

Chiranjeevi's film in the direction of B Gopal is going on now at Benaras
and Ayodya. Chiranjeevi celebrated the New Year at the Hotel Ganges
in Benaras, which was attended by all his regular producers. This schedule
of the film is being shot on 72 actor/actresses including Chiranjeevi,
Sonali Bendre, Punit Issar, Mukesh Rushi, Hemanth Ravan, SP Bala Subramanyam,
Prakash Raj, Sivaji, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, AVS, MS Narayana.
Lawrance is directing the choreography for the first song to be shot
on Chiranjeevi, Sonali Bendre and 60 dancers. Vikram Dharma is directing
a fight sequence in this schedule. This schedule will take place till
12th of this month.
Shankar
to direct 'BOYS .. for girls'
Shankar,
of Gentleman and Oke Okkadu fame, is going to direct a film with 5 youth
heroes and 5 heroines soon. The title of the film is 'BOYS' with a caption
followed by '… for girls'. AM Ratnam will produce this trilingual
in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. AM Rehman provides music. Shankar is hunting
for the new faces now.
